The domestic squad out of Newport Beach, CA astounded competitors and fans alike both this year and in 2007, claiming notable results in the prestigious Amgen Tour of California. The team has brought fresh legs and new faces to the starting line this year with the signing of Ben Day, 8th place overall in last years Amgen Tour of California, sprint specialist Hilton Clarke and strongman Dominique Rollin. The team is lead by Team Director Len Pettyjohn, a long time veteran of the sport, along with Assistant Director and recently retired pro cyclist Scott Moninger. Title sponsor Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.’s multi-year deal with the team marks Toyota’s first-ever sponsorship of a domestic road cycling team.
