About:
One of the international cycling scene's best-kept secrets is redefining the sport in Canada and turning heads wherever they race. The squad is led by two legendary hard men from the North, Svein Tuft and three-time Olympian Eric Wohlberg, and has made enormous progress over the past three years since its first participation in the Tour of Georgia. The team plans on continuing their 2007 winning ways – Tuft took the team's first UCI stage race win in last February's Vuelta a Cuba, won the inaugural US Open and finished second at Canada's premiere event, the Tour de Beauce. They were one of only three teams to place 6 or more riders in the front group at the International Classic in Philadelphia in ‘07, with the other two being Pro Tour powerhouse squads T-mobile and CSC. Fast-men Zach Bell and Andrew Pinfold scored three second place finishes in the inaugural Tour of Missouri, while teammate Andrew Randell finished 8th overall. Twenty two year old Christian Meier tied with 2005 Tour de France 4th place finisher Francisco Mancebo of Spain at the Vuelta a Chihuahua. At home the team dominated their National Championships, as they finished first, second and fifth in the elite Road Race with Cameron Evans, Andrew Randell and Svein Tuft respectively, while Meier took the Espoir Road title.

At the end of 2007 the team had 6 riders ranked in the UCI America's top fifty – more than any other team across North, Central and South America. The team has 5 riders qualified for selection pool for the Canadian Olympics and will be looking to see a rider chosen to ride in Beijing this August.

The title sponsor Symmetrics founded Canada’s largest pro team, in 2003. The company is a data analysis software company.
