Interesting Facts:Leipheimer is by far one of the most accomplished American stage racers active today. A strong time trialist and able climber, Leipheimer is one of the most consistent stage racers in the sport. He has won the Tour of Germany, the Dauphine Libere, finished second in the Tour of Georgia, and third in the Vuelta a Espana. He has also finished the Tour de France in the top ten three times. He followed former Discovery squad directuer sportif, Johan Bruyneel, to Astana for the 2008 season and has already achieved the title of overall winner of the Amgen Tour of California.
