Our first goal is to raise $250,000, the amount needed for the prize purse and the flights for the teams. If we simply get 2,000 people to give $125 we will hit that mark. No contribution is too small. Don’t forget that The Tour is a 501(c)3 public charity - so your contribution is tax deductible.

Support Beat the Heat Challenge and Childen's Healthare of Atlanta.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is a key partner for the Tour de Georgia.  Children’s Healthcare is putting on an awesome event to set the stage for us to come together and support efforts to reduce childhood obesity and celebrate the return of The Tour. 

The Tour is a great vehicle to spread the message of health and wellness! We should all be advocates to get all Georgians on a bike - especially kids. The healthcare costs related to obesity are extraordinary but at the same time, preventable.  Join us for the Beat the Heat Challenge to give this cause support.  The highlight of the event will be a 100k cycling race from Elijay, GA up Brasstown Bald.

The primary missions of the The Tour de Georgia Foundation, Inc. are (1) to organize, promote and present a world class professional cycling event in the state of Georgia, and (2) promotion of health and wellness initiatives (including but not limited to support of childhood cancer research, obesity and related illnesses). Your contribution will be used, in the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, to support the organization, promotion and presentation of a Tour de Georgia race in 2010 or beyond.
