2008 AT&T Overall Leader Jersey This jersey signifies the leader of the General Classification, or GC. The cyclist with the least overall accumulated time is awarded the AT&T Race Leader Jersey, and at the end of the race is crowned the race champion. Here we honor the traditional yellow worn by the leader at the grand daddy of all cycling stage races, Le Tour de France, with the same yellow color. Our design has also unravelled some design elements from overall race sponsor AT&T's logo. Past winners include Chris Horner (USA) in 2003, Lance Armstrong (USA) in 2004, Tom Danielson (USA) in 2005, Floyd Landis in 2006 and Janez Brajkovič (Slovenia) in 2007. (USA) |

2008 Georgia Power Sprint Award Jersey Stage races like the Tour de Georgia often incorporate sprint lines throughout the race, where cyclists can accumulate points by crossing the lines in either first, second or third position. Regarded as the "race within the race," the rider with the most points is awarded the Georgia Power Sprint Leader Jersey. This year's design honors the Tour de Georgia's first ever coastal start at Tybee Island with it's deep Atlantic Ocean blue color and "wave-stripe" design on the front and back. Past winners include Fred Rodriguez (USA) in 2003, Gord Fraser (CAN) in 2004, Greg Henderson (NZL) 2005, Rodriguez again in 2006, and Juan José Haedo (ARG) in 2007. |

2008 United Community Bank King of the Mountain (KOM) Award Jersey Georgia certainly has plenty of mountainous terrain, giving many opportunities to cyclists to accumulate King of the Mountain (KOM) points. This jersey is awarded to the cyclist who has accumulated the most points by reaching predetermined lines on mountain roads -typically at the crest of a climb- in either first, second or third position. For the fifth consecutive year the United Community Bank KOM jersey features a peach pattern inspired by the classic Tour de France red polka dot theme. The best climbers to have worn the KOM jersey include: Chris Horner (USA) 2003, Jason McCartney (USA) in 2004, José Luis Rubiera (ESP) 2005, a repeat by McCartney in 2006 and Ryder Hesjedal (CAN) in 2007. |

2008 GE Energy Best Young Rider Jersey The GE Energy Best Young Rider jersey is awarded to the cyclist with the lowest accumulated overall time in the General Classification (GC) who is under 22 years of age. This up and coming rider typically is "one to watch" as a potential international cycling star of the future. The diverse native oak trees of Georgia are used as a design element symbolizing this promise of future growth and strength. Past winners have included Dalton, Georgia native Saul Raisin (USA) in 2003, Kevin Bouchard-Hall (USA) in 2004, Trent Lowe (AUS) 2005, and Janez Brajkovič (SLO) in 2006 and 2007. |

2008 Georgia Lottery Most Aggressive Rider Jersey Possibly the most subjective jersey awarded during the Tour, the Georgia Lottery Most Aggressive Rider jersey is given at the end of each stage to the rider who is judged to have instigated the most attacks and breakaways. This year's design was inspired by the deep orange color of our World famous Georgia clay. Stubborn and practically impossible to launder out of any garment, we felt the color expressed the tenacious spirit of the rider beneath the jersey. Andrea Tafi (ITA) won this inaugural jersey award in 2005. In 2006 the jersey was awarded to Will Frischkorn (USA) and in 2007 it was won by Cesar Grajales (COL). |
